On behalf of the Board of Directors for GIRL Cafe, Incorporated, we are excited to announce that after 10 years of the GIRL 24 initiative, our mission will now be expanded to serve girls and women as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. About GIRL 24
Mission
To teach girls the importance of being good businesswomen by committing to a lifestyle of positive influence as a Gifted, Ingenious, Refined Leader. We seek to initiate her aspiration of being an entrepreneur or business leader and preparing her for the mastery of her own Good brand.
Vision
GIRL 24 was inspired by the story of the Virtuous Woman in Proverbs 31, and how she shaped her life around her faith and family, all while perfecting her craft and overall brand. The 24th verse describes her preparation of making her product GOOD and of fine quality - before offering to consumers - which is the characteristic many businesses lack today...hence the birth of GIRL 24. Every woman begins her journey as a young girl. However the ‘inner girl’ is IN-fluenced as she travels her path, determines the OUT-come of her womanhood. Our goal is to use a holistic approach in teaching the importance of preparing young girls before their ventures begin.
We seek to empower girls early in life by training them ahead of time on how to produce a quality image, business, and overall lifestyle, as she connects with a world full of many ventures.
The Challenge
Today, girls all over the world face a compound of obstacles as they reach their teen years, with little to no guidance and resources from a business and personal aspect of life. By the time adulthood meets them, there is almost no clear vision of purpose or path to lead them on an effective journey.
The Solution
GIRL 24 strives to be a community of good women business leaders providing time, opportunity, advice and resources to girls desiring to take flight as GOOD entrepreneurs and businesswomen. By teaching early in life, girls can get a head start on building character, integrity and skills to fulfill their true aspirations as leaders, and adapt to the necessary challenges along the way.
